Thursday (October 24): Bhartiy Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena are all set to form the government in Maharashtra as the result today shows comfortable win for BJP-SS alliance.
As per the latest trends BJP has won 93 seats and was leading on 8 more seats while Shiv Sena has won 56 seats and was leading on 2 seats.
In the camp of Congress-NCP, Cong has won 40 seats and was leading on 5 more seats while NCP has won 51 seats and was leading on 2 seats.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis continues to lead from Nagpur South West by over 14,000 votes.
Making his political debut, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray is taking the lead in Worli seat.
Meanwhile, NCP leader Ajit Pawar won the polls from the Baramati seat by over one lakh votes.
