Maharashtra Politics Update: Congress, NCP leaders meet in Delhi

The state is currently under the President's rule and attempts are being made by all major political parties to end the deadlock and form the government.

Wednesday (November 20): To resolve the political crisis and decide on government formation in Maharashtra, Senior leaders of the Congress and the NCP held talks today .

The meeting took place at the residence of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar. Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Jairam Ramesh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Prithviraj Chavan, K C Venugopal and Balasaheb Thorat attended the meeting.

Those representing the NCP included Supriya Sule, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil and Nawab Malik.
