Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starring Coolie No 1 is being shot at Filmistan Studio, Goregaon, Mumbai. Last night, a major alarm rose on the sets of the film as a massive fire broke out. At around 12:30 AM last night, an accident occurred and a fire broke on the sets of Coolie No 1. At that time, 15 workers were there at the scene of the fire and they immediately called the Fire station and the Police to inform them about the mishap.
As the Fireman arrived, the fire on the sets of Varun and Sara’s film was put out and as per reports, no one was injured in the accident. The reason behind the sudden incident is yet to be known. The details related to the damage to the sets and film property is unknown as of now. The film is being helmed by David Dhawan and had kicked off in Bangkok last month where Sara and Varun were shooting with the crew.

It is a remake of the 1995 Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starring and is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Rajat Rawail and Johnny Lever. Varun and Sara have been gearing up to shoot for a revamped number Husn Hai Suhana and for the same, have been rehearsing with choreographer, Ganesh Acharya. The film’s first look was revealed on Sara’s birthday last month and the posters were also unveiled. Coolie No 1 remake is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
