Millions of students & teachers across the world are skipping school on 20th September for the third Global Climate Strike this year.

India is also one of those 150+ countries protesting against the climate inaction. Thousands of people in India are bunking schools, colleges and work to march across 144 locations. This time, the protest will continue for a week.

The last Global Strike on 24th May saw a good turnout in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and it’s expected to be even bigger this time.

There are strict instructions to people coming for the protest to bring their own water bottles, posters/banners made from recyclable materials and to not litter after protest.

1.1 million students are attending the strike from New York city alone. The mayor has asked the schools to excuse them from class to go out and protest this Friday.
